Getting to Know AMZ
General Manager Max Balbin III opened the session with "Who is AMZ" and "AMZ at a Glance," walking the team through the company profile and the organizational chart. New and existing employees alike saw the full picture: where AMZ came from, where it is headed, and where each role sits within the bigger structure.
Policies, Standards, and Code of Conduct
The AMZ Policies and Standards session laid out the company policies that govern day-to-day work, along with the code of conduct expected of every employee. More than a list of rules, it framed the standards of professionalism, accountability, and integrity that our clients and partners rely on every time they deal with AMZ.
Department Orientation
Each department presented its scope of work, key responsibilities, and how tasks move from one team to the next. Understanding the handoffs between departments helps everyone see how their own work affects the next person in line — and, ultimately, the customer at the end of it.
Product Orientation
The afternoon turned to the products themselves. The team reviewed the AMZ product line and the standard operating procedures that support it, including SOP-010: Product Complaint Handling. Knowing our products in detail — and knowing exactly what to do when a concern is raised — is what allows us to give partners accurate answers and fast resolutions.
Caring Beyond Distribution
The orientation closed with a reminder of what ties all of it together. Company profile, policies, departments, and products are not separate lessons — they are one standard, carried by one team. As we continue to grow, that shared understanding is what keeps AMZ dependable to the healthcare partners and communities we serve.
